4 potatoes
1 medium onion
1/4 cup heavy cream
4 tablespoons butter
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup cream cheese
1/4 cup whole milk
1/2 cup parmesean cheese
1/4 cup bread crumbs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Clean and thinly slice potatoes and onions. Place in greased 8x8 baking dish or pie plate. Cover with 1/4 cup heavy cream and set aside.
In a medium saucpan, combine butter, garlic, 3/4 cup heavy cream, cream cheese and milk. Cook over meium heat until cream cheese is melted and mixture is well combined. Pour over potatoes. Top with bread crumbs and parmesean cheese.
Bake for 30-45 minutes or until potatoes soft and top is brown.
